LAUNCHING THE "CƠ TU-GETHER" PROJECT - A SMALL VILLAGE, THOUSANDS OF BIG STORIES

In the midst of the strong development of Da Nang, somewhere in the mountains and forests quietly preserves the mark of the Cơ Tu people. The values ​​that once connected generations are now gradually fading, leaving concerns about the journey of preservation and continuation.

For the Cơ Tu people, the image of the Nêu tree - the ceremonial pole stands firmly like the soul of the village. Beyond the meaning of belief, the ceremonial pole is both a pillar connecting people with gods and at the same time a place to gather and unite ethnic people.

From the sacred symbol and the goal of preserving heritage, Ethnicity accompanies the FPT Da Nang youth group to sponsor the communication to launch the Cơ Tu-Gether Project as a bridge for young people to get closer to indigenous culture such as craft villages, art, cuisine,... here.

Let's join Cơ Tu-Gether to tell the story of the village and continue a new journey: from conservation to dissemination, from heritage to the future.

CƠ TU-GETHER: CÙNG NHAU DẠO BẢN (WALK IN THE VILLAGE TOGETHER) is a multi-sensory cultural experience event celebrating the Cơ Tu ethnic heritage.

It’s a collaborative activity organized by students from FPT University Đà Nẵng and Đà Nẵng Museum, as part of the Đà Nẵng Cultural Heritage Day 2025 series..
